Jordan Peppmuller
My name is Jordan Peppmuller. I was born and raised in/near Lincoln, NE. I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2015 with a bachelors degree from the College of Education and Human Sciences in Inclusive Early Childhood Education. I continued my education at Doane University and completed my Masters degree in Educational Leadership in May of 2020. I come from a family of educators and I have had the privilege of educating primary age students from 2016-2022.
In the spring of 2020, my husband and I welcomed our son, Carson, into our family. I love being a mom and watching him learn/grow. I realized I wanted to be more present at home to soak up all of those mom moments. I had been dreaming of working for House of Colour since the moment I walked out of my own color consultation in the Spring of 2018. I went home and ditched my very black wardrobe and I haven’t looked back since! I am beyond grateful to make this dream of mine turn into reality and to bring the joy of colour and style to many more.

favorite thing about being a spring:
When I first found out I was a spring, it made me so nervous. If you took a peek in my closet back in 2017, all I owned was black, white, and grey. However, once I started owning and wearing my colors, I realized just how well they match my personality. I love feeling confident going for the bright colors others may avoid in stores. I love how I feel in my bright & splashy color palette! It was a huge transformation for me and my closet but now I can say I truly LOVE being a spring.
favorite spring color combo:
It is hard to pick my favorite spring color combo because I love trying to wear and mix all of my colors. My favorite spring color combo at the moment has to be apple green, flamingo pink, and turquoise.
how has hoc give you confidence?
House of Colour has helped me to feel more confident and put together. I have always loved shopping but grew frustrated when I couldn’t figure out why I didn’t like what I had purchased once I got home. Knowing my best colors and style has helped me to make better choices when shopping in person and has also allowed my online shopping to be far more successful! Now I love my closet, shopping is even more FUN, and packing for trips is easier than ever. I am beyond excited to help others gain confidence in themselves and their wardrobe through House of Colour!
